Elder (OH) Snaps Independence's (NC) 109-Game Win Streak

De La Salle High School (Concord, CA) fans relax...your school's and nation's best 151-game win streak is safe thanks to Cincinnati's Elder High, which took down Independence 41-34 in overtime to snap the Charlotte school's 109-game win streak in the Third Annual Kirk Herbstreit Ohio Vs. USA Challenge.

The Panther did it by scoring first in overtime, and then defensive back Keith Hamburg picked-off a pass on a third down and 19 to end the game and the streak. Independence entered the game ranked #3 in the USA Today Pre-Season High School Football Rankings.
